CAMBODIA VISA

On 14 August 2014, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced that
T and E-type visa prices will be increased as of 01 October 2014. The new prices will be:

• 30-day tourist visa (Type ‘T’): US$30
• 30-day business visa (Type ‘E’): US$35

 

About Cambodia Visa: at Tropieng Kreal International Check Point (Stung Treng Province)

The visa can be done at the border on arrival without any problem, fill up entry card, visa form and walk to window, just like in any other country, they will ask you for a picture, and 35$ (T) for tourist visa 30 days, and 2$ for stamping this visa.

So we total recommend to avoid visa runners, visa agents, etc, but this is your personal choice.

You will also need one passport picture for visa. In case you dont have it, at the bars there are at the border they will charge you 2$ and make picture for you.

Tourist & Business Visas:

Visitors from countries not under Visa Exemption Agreements must apply for a Tourists (T) or business (E) visa valid for one month at the points of
entry.

Visa K can be issued to a Cambodian national entering the Kingdom on a foreign passport. (The applicant has to provide well-documented evidence, such
as proof that one's parents were Cambodian).

Visa Exemption:

The nationals of the Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia do not need a tourist visa and may stay in Cambodia for 21 and
30 days respectively. Visa extension:

The tourist (T) and business (E) visas can be extended at the Immigration Department, National Police. The Diplomatic (A), Official (B) and Courtesy (C)
visas can be extended at the Consular Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A tourist visa can be extended only once for up to one month (single
entry).

• A business visa can be extended for:
• One month (Single entry)
• Three months (Single entry)
• Six months (Multiple entry)
• One year (Multiple entry)

Overstayers will be fined US$ 5 per day.

We want to inform that passengers arriving to Cambodia from Laos, and holding
the INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF VACCINATION does not have to pay the health check test at border,
then passenger who are not carrying this certificate MUST pay 1$ fee for health check.

About Laos Visa: at Tropieng Kreal International Check Point (Stung Treng Province)

The visa can be done at the border on arrival without any problem, just like in any other country, fill up the entry card and visa form and just walk to window, visa rates changes depends each country, but there is a chart to see your country rate, they will also ask you 2$ for stamping the visa. You will need a passport picture for the visa.

We recommend people from Siem Reap travelling to Laos, to use the ATM in Cambodia before crossing, there is an ATM at the pier town of Nakasang, but sometimes this ATM doesn`t work.

Most of visa prices go in the range of 30$ to 42$

Who can get Laos Visas on Arrival?

Everyone except for citizens of the countries listed under "Who CANNOT get Lao visa on arrival?" below.

Effective from 15 October, 2009, travelers holding passports from the following countries are not eligible for Laos Visas on Arrival.
